BILLING POLICY

Due to the pressures of rising costs we have had to increase our fees from 15 July 2024. 

 

If we do not, we will have no choice but to close the practice.

It has been a pleasure serving our community and we wish to continue to do so into the future.

From the 15th of July 2024 ALL patients aged 13-74 will be charged privately.
Concession Card and Health Care Card holders will be charged a concession fee.

​

Due to the large number of missed appointments,  a Cancellation Fee of $50 for standard appointments or $80 for longer appointments will apply for all appointments cancelled less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment or if you do not attend.

Further appointment requests will be declined if there are outstanding late fees applied.

Children aged 12 and under, and patients aged 75 and older, will be bulk-billed for standard consults
(under 20 minutes).

Long appointments (more than 20 minutes) for all patients will be charged full private fees.

 

DVA Gold Card holders will be bulk billed. DVA White card holders will be bulk billed for eligible conditions.

 

All Initial Consults for new patients will be booked as long appointments and attract fees. Cancellation Fees will apply for appointments cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment or if you do not attend. 

All Referral requests will require an appointment.

Telephone and telehealth appointments will be charged as per face-to-face appointments.

Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations will be bulk billed for Medicare or DVA card holders.

​

GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments,

and Medication Reviews will be bulk billed.

Mental Health consults or plans will attract fees.

 

Appointments for non-Medicare holders or international students will be payable at the time of consultation.

Refunds can be sought from your Overseas Health Cover provider.

 
For non-Medicare eligible items, such as pre-employment medicals, commercial driver’s medicals, etc, fees will be explained prior to the consultation.
