BILLING POLICY

Due to the pressures of rising costs we have had to increase our fees from 1 September 2023
 
If we do not, we will have no choice but to close the practice.
It has been a pleasure serving our community and we wish to continue to do so into the future.
All Initial Consults for new patients will be booked as long appointments and attract fees.


All Script and/or Referral requests will require an appointment.

 

Scripts for regular medication can also be requested via Hot Doc or by clicking "Online Prescription".

DVA Gold Card holders will be bulk billed. DVA White card holders will be bulk billed for eligible conditions.

 

Patients aged under 16, or over 70 years who are concession card holders, will be bulk billed for standard appointments only. All Longer appointments will attract fees. All follow-up appointments will attract fees. 

 

Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations will be bulk billed for Medicare or DVA card holders.

GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments,

Medication Reviews and Minor Procedures will be bulk billed.

Mental Health consults or plans will attract fees.

 

Appointments for non-Medicare holders or international students will be payable at the time of consultation.

Refunds can be sought from your Overseas Health Cover provider.

 
Full fees are payable for patients without concession cards for Telehealth and standard appointments.
 Concession fees will appy for eligible Concession Card holders for standard teleheath appointments.
 
For non-Medicare eligible items, such as pre-employment medicals, commercial driver’s medicals, etc, fees will be explained prior to the consultation.
** If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please speak to your doctor about bulk billing your consultation fee.
